About Naomi

Naomi Steinberg founded Apply Yourself Educational Consulting in 2006 and quickly established herself as one of South Florida's most sought after college admissions advisors. She is a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), member of Southern Association of College Admissions Counseling (SACAC), and has completed IECA's Principles and Practices Institute for Independent College Counselors as well specialized coursework through UCLA.

Naomi travels extensively to visit colleges in the U.S. and attends national conferences on a regular basis. A graduate of Harvard University, Naomi has more than a decade of experience as an alumnae interviewer of undergraduate applicants to Harvard. Prior to launching AYEC, Naomi spent 17 years as a marketing consultant in the information technology industry. Naomi’s highly personalized services, expertise, and customized methodologies have benefited students throughout South Florida and beyond.
